Jackson Ford leads the Dally M race after Round 2

The New Zealand Warriors forward has surged to the top of the 2026 Dally M Medal standings as the surprise early leader following two commanding performances in the Warriors' wins to open the season. He's the only player with maximum votes across the opening rounds so far, showcasing his workhorse style in the middle.

In Round 1 against the Roosters (Warriors 42-18 win), Ford was awarded the full 6 Dally M points for a mammoth effort: 22 runs, 218 metres gained (game-high), 112 post-contact metres, and 28 tackles (team-high). He was dominant upfront and helped set the tone for the victory.

Then in Round 2, he backed it up with another strong showing — including scoring this EPIC try!
